Exterior Alteration Requests

Warning: Exterior alterations commenced without prior approval of the ACC violate the covenants and are at the applicant's own risk.

 

Description of change requested: 
Instructions: Give purpose and full details of the proposed change. If any painting is required, include the paint manufacturer and part number with a description of the paint color. Non-approved colors require a color sample submission. All structural changes require a plot plan with a scaled drawing of the proposed alteration or addition. Applications lacking full details of proposed exterior alteration will not be processed until all details are submitted to the Glenshire Towne HOA/Architectural Committee via Tidewaterproperty.com.  You must submit your request through the Property Management Company website (Tidewaterproperty.com), or it will not be processed.


1. Prior to starting to build, building permits should be obtained from Howard County. Further, nothing herein contained shall be construed as a waiver of or modification of any said County restrictions.

2. Architectural Reviews ("AR") usually take 30 days. All AR requests must be submitted online via Tidewaterproperty.com. https://www3.senearthco.com/index.cfmfuseaction=home.sign_in&mgtCompanyName=tidewater&association=6518

3. Residents must utilize only HOA-approved colors as specified in the Glenshire Towne Bylaws. ARC requests for exterior alterations, including painting, siding, shutters, doors, etc., must include a sample of an approved HOA color. Click on Documents to view an updated list of HOA-approved siding colors. 
*Please note: Door and shutter colors must match and be an approved HOA color.

4. When requested by ACC the applicant must contact the ACC upon completion of the proposed change for verification of compliance. Work as expressed herein must be completed within 12 months of approval. Extenuating circumstances regarding completion should be brought to the attention of the ACC.
